Colts Information:

Here at Kimble Cricket Club we are extremely proud of our Colts development section.

One of the best things about the club over the past few decades has been the dedication to the junior colts and the commitment everyone at the club has put in.

We have always had a thriving colts section that has always progressed well through their age groups and leagues picking up many good results and trophies.

Our colts section is now as big as ever, with so many talented youngsters progressing through into the senior teams. The healthy turnout we regularly have at our colt training sessions is envied by many clubs.

Our training sessions and colts teams are run by extremely friendly and helpful qualified coaches and also by parent helpers. We have a good selection of training equipment including cricket nets for coaching. We have junior sides in all age groups who all play regular matches, both friendlies and league fixtures.

Monday Evening Session. Monday evenings are our junior colts training sessions. Our Monday evening practice sessions are to start on 20th April 2009, these are for all age groups from 7 years up to up to and including the Under 13s (under 13 on September 1st last year). These practice evenings will be held at the Club Ground from 6pm until 7.30pm each Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) This year training times remain the same at 6.00pm until 7.30pm.

For more information on our colts set up please drop in to one of our practice nights, Monday evenings 6.00pm - 7.30pm for all juniors up to the age of 13 years, or Thursday evenings 6.30pm - 8.00pm for all juniors 14 or over. Alternatively please email us on info@kimblecricketclub.co.uk

Over the winter months we also organise indoor net practice sessions at Lord Williams School in Thame in preparation for the season ahead. These sessions are open to all juniors over 13 years of age.

For more information on the club or how to join and become a member please feel free to phone, email or pop down to the ground during any practice evening or match.

Please check back here soon for more information on our colts set up...

Junior cricket

We would like some adult members and parents to volunteer to help out on Monday evenings with the fluorishing colts cricket programme and we would particularly like to hear from anyone who would be interested in helping to run the U9 team. Please contact Toni Russel if you would like to help with junior cricket in any capacity.
